Yesterday I had a breakthrough – a manifestation in the Lord. I had been thinking and pondering about a brother in the Lord and what could I do to help or assist him in his walk with our Lord. Many different things were coursing through my mind and I was going to the “Word of God” to find the answer and looking to the Holy Spirit to show me how to proceed. I had spent many hours thinking, praying and studying to determine the best possible action.

I happened to pause briefly in the day and now know and understand how in part the Lord gave me a root to follow that began with a young preacher discussing and explaining his experience in India at a leper colony. I did not make the connection until many hours had passed. Our God works in mysterious ways, however if we are in the faith and in the Word, He will make the connection for us even without our understanding at the time. This young man first explained how he had been with a well known Christian preacher; Mr. Oral Roberts, who he asked a question. He asked Mr. Roberts what did he do prior to his Christian gatherings or public ministry meetings so that he and these meetings, often with mass numbers of people, could be more effective or at peak levels for breakthrough, manifestations and the will of God to be present. He said that he was surprised by the answer given by Mr. Roberts. What he was told by Mr. Roberts, was that before every public gathering meeting before anything took place, he would pray that God would put love in him for the people. A love for these people, that He God our Father has for each of us, His pinnacle of creation, His many sons and daughters in our Lord Jesus Christ. After his prayer, he was ready to go forth as if he had put on both a shield and a power, that it would require, that through this love poured out on him, he was then ready to work for God, in a most effective way.

When this young preacher arrived at the leper colony he said that he began to use this approach that the older preacher in Mr. Roberts used as well. Even though many in this leper colony had open sores and were highly contagious, he walked in faith knowing that our Lord had put a shield over his skin and a love in his heart. He said, that he would pray with these leper people as he hugged them and drew them close to him, expressing the love of God for even these out casts of society. He did not fear for himself he said, but wanted these individuals to know that God loved them also. After he returned back to America he received a phone call from the pastor there in India where the leper colony was located, and this pastor reported to him that these lepers began to heal from the tremendously ugly sores and open infections on their bodies. God’s love had brought this about for they too are His children, just as we are. God is not a respecter of persons, He loves all of His people and His creation, stating that it was very good from the very beginning.

We read in I John 4:8 He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.
Also we read: And we have known and believe the love that God has for us.

God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him. I John 4:16

God is Spirit we must worship Him in spirit and in truth. John 4:24

All the ways of a man are pure in his own eyes,
But the Lord weights the spirits Proverbs 16:2

There is a way that seems right to a man,
But its end is the way of death.  Proverbs 16:25

Even a fool is counted wise
When he holds his peace;
When he shuts his lips,
He is considered perceptive. Proverbs 17:28

There are many plans in a man’s heart,
Nevertheless the Lord’s counsel
That will stand. Proverbs 19:21

The spirit of a man is the lamp
Of the Lord
Searching all the inner depths of
his heart. Proverbs 20:27

By humility and fear of the Lord
Are riches and honor and life.   Proverbs 22:4

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace. James 3:17-18

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is good and acceptable and the perfect will of God. Romans 12:1-2

Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion. Romans 12:16

Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same spirit.
There are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all.
But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all. I Corinthians 12:4-7

And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. I Corinthians 13:2

And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love. I Corinthians 13:13

Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is:  “The day of salvation” II Corinthians 6:2

We give no offense in anything, that our ministry may not be blamed. II Corinthians 6:3

But in all things we commend ourselves as ministers of God; in much patience, in tribulations, in needs, in distresses, in stripes, in imprisonment, in tumults, in labors, in sleeplessness, in fastings; By purity, by knowledge, by long-suffering, by kindness by the Holy Spirit, By sincere love.  II Corinthians 6:4-6

“I will dwell in them
And walk among them.
I will be their God,
And they shall be My people.”
Therefore “Come out from among them
And be separate, says the Lord.
Do not touch what is unclean,
And I will receive you.”
“I will be a Father to you,
And you shall be My sons
And daughters,
Says the Lord Almighty.” II Corinthians 6:16-17

For godly sorrow produces repentance to salvation, not to be regretted;
But the sorrow of the world produces death. II Corinthians 7:10

And I heard another voice from heaven saying, Come out of her, my peoples, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues. Revelations 18:4

And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding from the throne of God and of the Lamb. Revelations 22:1

Brothers and sisters let us walk in God’s love. May we accomplish the task that He has sent us here to accomplish in Him, through His love. We can do nothing alone, we must look to our Lord, the refiner and finisher of our faith. Let us be about His business. May we let His light shine in each of our lives. Love will overcome this world!!! Let us make a difference in this troubled world, darkness all around. Be encouraged however, our Lord has overcome the world and is now seated at the right hand of our God Most High, He has it all well in hand. We only need to believe it!!! And to Love God first and all of mankind second!!!

Love to all in Jesus name.
