I wanted to first start this part 2 of my testimony with a few Scriptures about testimony.  Luke 5:12-15: “And it happened when He was in a certain city, that behold, a man who was full of leprosy saw Jesus; and fell on his face and implored Him, saying ‘Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.’ Then He put out His hand and touched him, saying, ‘I am willing; be cleansed.’ And immediately the leprosy left him. And He charged him to tell no one, ‘But go and show yourself to the priest, and make an offering for your cleansing, as a testimony to them, just as Moses commanded.’  Then the report went around concerning Him all the more; and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by Him of their infirmities.”

Another point I wish to make is that today, Jesus does not always heal us instantly of our infirmities, sometimes hours, days and weeks will pass before we are healed.  We are limited because of our faith and that we are not Jesus, but asking in His name for healing.  As we grow in faith and as we allow these shared testimonies to encourage one another, we shall see greater works than these.

I want to go back to nearly the beginning of this on-going story (testimony) line which goes back well over a year now.  Several months after being diagnosed with prostate cancer, I decided to get a new look at things, get away for a few days.  I traveled to Nevada to an oil well site where I had invested in this drilling.  I didn’t know it at the time but Eric Wheeler was told in the spirit that I was going to have an encounter with God.  I found this out after my return.  I had never been there before nor did I know anyone.  Shortly after arriving I received a call from Welton Tucker on my cell phone that Trace Gashler was trying to contact me about prayer.  I called Trace and she asked if I would pray for her aunt that was dying of pancreatic cancer.  The Holy Spirit told me to pray on the phone but to pray through Trace.  I told Trace that was the way we needed to pray and she said, “Ok”.  Jesus allowed her aunt who was up in age to die. God knows what is best for us because He loves all of His creation which we are a part.  Jesus does not always heal everyone in the way in which we want.

Trace had been in major pain for many years with her monthly period.  Sometimes it would get so bad that she would stay in bed for days.  Well the next period came without pain and it’s been this way every since.  Jesus had me add this story line yesterday because He wants us to realize that these testimonies are one of the ways His work will greatly be increased here in the last days before Christ’s return to earth.  People’s faith is increased when the power of God is shared among His “called-out ones” (ekklesia = “church”).  Trace will begin now writing her testimonies about what God is doing in her life.  When we experience the hand of God, first hand, we are never the same.  Please remember to share your testimonies with others so that their faith can grow and therefore, greater works of God can be seen.

Mat 4:4 ” It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.”

Mat 5:13-16  “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled under foot by men. You are the light of the world.  A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”

Mat 9:36-38  “But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. Then He said to His disciples, ‘The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.'”

Today was my next meeting with Dr. Tippin after my surgery.  I asked him about his cancer diagnoses knowing in advance that God’s hand was touching Dr. Tippin’s body.  I knew in the spirit that Jesus has selected him for healing, not an instant miracle-type, but a healing just the same.  He told me that they could not explain how his bone cancer had not spread in his body which is very unusual.  Normally this type of cancer would be seen in other areas of the body.  This cancer is isolated to the sternum area.  My thinking is that ‘why not?’- that puts it right up front where treatment can be done with less difficulty.  Thank you, Jesus, for your provision once again.

I also talked again today with “Mo’, the lady that God has healed of alcoholism a couple months ago.  She says that her “new found addiction is ice cream”, as we had a good laugh.  Thanks again to Jesus for His love and power.

As I said before, God has it all under control!

“Praise God.”
