God Has It All Under Control – Part 2

By Jerry Olson
jerrydeanolson@yahoo.com

I wanted to first start this part 2 of my testimony with a few Scriptures about testimony.  Luke 5:12-15: “And it happened when He was in a certain city, that behold, a man who was full of leprosy saw Jesus; and fell on his face and implored Him, saying ‘Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.’ Then He put out His hand and touched him, saying, ‘I am willing; be cleansed.’ And immediately the leprosy left him. And He charged him to tell no one, ‘But go and show yourself to the priest, and make an offering for your cleansing, as a testimony to them, just as Moses commanded.’  Then the report went around concerning Him all the more; and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by Him of their infirmities.”

Another point I wish to make is that today, Jesus does not always heal us instantly of our infirmities, sometimes hours, days and weeks will pass before we are healed.  We are limited because of our faith and that we are not Jesus, but asking in His name for healing.  As we grow in faith and as we allow these shared testimonies to encourage one another, we shall see greater works than these.

I want to go back to nearly the beginning of this on-going story (testimony) line which goes back well over a year now.  Several months after being diagnosed with prostate cancer, I decided to get a new look at things, get away for a few days.  I traveled to Nevada to an oil well site where I had invested in this drilling.  I didn’t know it at the time but Eric Wheeler was told in the spirit that I was going to have an encounter with God.  I found this out after my return.  I had never been there before nor did I know anyone.  Shortly after arriving I received a call from Welton Tucker on my cell phone that Trace Gashler was trying to contact me about prayer.  I called Trace and she asked if I would pray for her aunt that was dying of pancreatic cancer.  The Holy Spirit told me to pray on the phone but to pray through Trace.  I told Trace that was the way we needed to pray and she said, “Ok”.  Jesus allowed her aunt who was up in age to die. God knows what is best for us because He loves all of His creation which we are a part.  Jesus does not always heal everyone in the way in which we want.

Trace had been in major pain for many years with her monthly period.  Sometimes it would get so bad that she would stay in bed for days.  Well the next period came without pain and it’s been this way every since.  Jesus had me add this story line yesterday because He wants us to realize that these testimonies are one of the ways His work will greatly be increased here in the last days before Christ’s return to earth.  People’s faith is increased when the power of God is shared among His “called-out ones” (ekklesia = “church”).  Trace will begin now writing her testimonies about what God is doing in her life.  When we experience the hand of God, first hand, we are never the same.  Please remember to share your testimonies with others so that their faith can grow and therefore, greater works of God can be seen.

Mat 4:4 ” It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.”

Mat 5:13-16  “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled under foot by men. You are the light of the world.  A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”

Mat 9:36-38  “But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. Then He said to His disciples, ‘The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.'”

Today was my next meeting with Dr. Tippin after my surgery.  I asked him about his cancer diagnoses knowing in advance that God’s hand was touching Dr. Tippin’s body.  I knew in the spirit that Jesus has selected him for healing, not an instant miracle-type, but a healing just the same.  He told me that they could not explain how his bone cancer had not spread in his body which is very unusual.  Normally this type of cancer would be seen in other areas of the body.  This cancer is isolated to the sternum area.  My thinking is that ‘why not?’- that puts it right up front where treatment can be done with less difficulty.  Thank you, Jesus, for your provision once again.

I also talked again today with “Mo’, the lady that God has healed of alcoholism a couple months ago.  She says that her “new found addiction is ice cream”, as we had a good laugh.  Thanks again to Jesus for His love and power.

As I said before, God has it all under control!

“Praise God.”

Miracles Are A Must

Note from the moderator:  As I was reading the article below from Andrew Strom regarding the need for “mighty demonstrations of the Spirit” to accompany the faithful preaching of the Word, I was reminded of a powerful vision that the Lord gave me a number of years ago.  The Lord told me in a vision that after a certain allotted “time of prophesying” had occurred, a period of dramatic “signs and wonders” would then follow.  In the vision, I saw “exhausted prophets” boldly and wearily teaching and preaching to the people of God who were just sleepily and complacently sitting in the church pews seemingly paying no attention to them at all.  After a long while, I heard a loud Voice proclaim, “It is enough!  For those who have had ears to hear have heard and believed already!”  At that moment, the mouths of these tired prophets were silenced.  I heard the Voice then say, “I will do this:  For it is written, ‘Prophesying is for the believers; but signs are for the unbelievers!'”  Whereupon, I then saw the chests and arms of these tired prophets begin to swell with divine power which seemed to energize them and give them supernatural strength.  I saw them then speak boldly to the lame and deformed people among the church crowd: “Be whole and be healed in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ!”.  Instantly, the people who were in wheelchairs stood up, the deformed and lame became whole, and the sick were healed.  All of the people sitting in the church pews then instantly woke up, and fell to their knees, and confessed that God was alive and real.  I then heard the Great Voice say, “As it is written, ‘Every knee will bow and every tongue will confess to God, and no flesh will glory in His presence” (Rom. 14:11; I Cor. 1:29).  As word quickly spread of what happened, great crowds of people began pouring-in to hear the words of the Lord and to see the glory of God revealed in the midst of His people.

By Andrew Strom (prophetic@revivalschool.com)

If anything I am known as a ‘word’ preacher. For years and years I have prayed for a ‘Revival’ anointing on my preaching – and in the last 3 – 4 years I have certainly noticed an increase. But I am well aware that this is only half the story. As Revival history shows us – the ‘word’ by itself can have tremendous power to convict and transform lives. But without MIRACLES I have to question whether we really are representing true New Testament Christianity. I am totally convinced that we must have BOTH – the ‘WORD’ and the MIGHTY DEMONSTRATION of God’s power.

In 1947 Smith Wigglesworth gave a prophecy about 3 coming moves of God. Concerning the last (and greatest) of these he said:

“When the new church phase is on the wane, there will be evidence in the churches of something that has not been seen before: a coming together of those with an emphasis on the word and those with an emphasis on the Spirit. When the word and the Spirit come together, there will be the biggest move of the Holy Spirit that the nation, and indeed, the world has ever seen. It will mark the beginning of a revival that will eclipse anything that has been witnessed within these shores, even the Wesleyan and Welsh revivals of former years….”

-There it is- “The WORD and the SPIRIT” joined.

Let me ask a simple question: What did people “see” when they came across Jesus’ ministry? -They saw a simple, piercing gospel being preached and also the ‘kingdom’ being domonstrated through healings and miracles. -That is basically what they saw. And what did people “see” in the ministry of the apostles and
evangelists of Acts? -They saw the same thing. -An anointed, piercing gospel and mighty demonstrations of God’s power – both together. In fact, we really should ask ourselves- Is it possible to preach the gospel (in the full New Testament sense) without signs and wonders? -If we are being truly scriptural, surely we would have to answer- “NO, IT IS NOT.”

Another question- Why is the casting out of demons so important in demonstrating the ‘kingdom’? Well – what it is showing is the greater AUTHORITY found in the name and the ‘king-ship’ of Jesus Christ. Even demons have to obey Him! Suddenly everyone sees this beyond a doubt when a demon is cast out before their eyes. I remember the first time I saw this happen as a teenager – before I was a true Christian. The person screamed and writhed as the demon was cast out – just like in the Bible. And what was the result in me? -CONVICTION! Suddenly everything was ‘REALLY TRUE’! I felt like running forward and surrendering to God on the spot.

And this is why I am opposed to casting out demons in a “back room” somewhere. Notice that Jesus never did this. He cast out demons in PUBLIC – so that the ‘kingdom’ was demonstrated and God was glorified. Notice too, the absence of “3 hour marathons” in casting out demons in the Bible. They had the anointing and authority from God – and deliverance was mostly quick and decisive.

We have got to see the ‘Word and the Spirit joined’ like this in our day. In fact, I would love anyone on this List who moves powerfully in these areas to email me. -We have got to encourage and bring forward these kinds of giftings once again.

When I was in Michigan recently a leader there gave me a word. God was deeply moving in people’s hearts that weekend – we had people getting baptized and everything. Yet he said to me- ‘Last night I got a word for you. You need to hook up with others who move powerfully in miracles and healings – so there is a balance. Not just in preaching – but powerful “demonstration” also.’ -That was the gist of his word to me. And my spirit said, “AMEN!”  I got a strong sense of confirmation that this was a “Now” word.

I immediately thought of a brother in Arizona whom I know moves VERY powerfully in these areas – without hype or any of the other nonsense. -Just pure power of God. -And already we are talking about ministering together.

So please be aware that I fully intend for our meetings and gatherings in the future to be just as full of ‘DEMONSTRATION’ as they are of the “WORD”.

And I am serious about wanting to hear back from others who move powerfully in these giftings. It is time to see a “joining” of that which God has always wanted to bring forth. (-Simply reply to this email to get in touch. My email is- <prophetic@revivalschool.com> )

Could this be the hour for the joining of the WORD and the SPIRIT, my friends? Is this what God has been wanting to do?

Update: My Letter to Dr. Tippin

By  Jerry Olson  olsonjd@netscape.com

After reading Greg’s e-mail posted on SharingtheWay.com entitled “Be Willing to Share What God is Doing“, I thought that I should share my last experience.  Many of you know me and also know that nearly 3 years ago when I was diagnosed with prostate cancer, I felt led to not seek immediate medical help.  I could not even explain to myself the why of it.  However, just a few months ago, I felt led to seek medical help.  My PSA level had continued to climb.  PSA is the method used ro determine cancer-cell build up in the prostate.  My PSA level was measured at 23+ which is very high (anything over 4 is a concern).  I was recommended to see a cancer radiation specialist – specifically Dr. Douglas Tippin for evaluation.  He looked at my file and recommended a method for treating my cancer.  The following letter (below) was given to Dr. Tippin on the last day (the 31st day) of the treatments that I had been given over the past few weeks.

Our God is the Eternal God, and He has His hands on the pulse of the entire universe.  If we can get out of God’s way, so to speak, or better yet, be in tune with His will for our life and the lives He has placed around us, God’s work here on earth at this time, I feel, can be done.  All Christians have talents and the Holy Spirit living in us.  God said that if we fail to do His work, He will find someone else.  Either way, the will of the Father shall be accomplished!

To: Dr. Douglas Tippin
           From: Jerry Olson
          Date: Aug 30, 2006

Dear Dr. Tippin:
About a decade ago, Jesus gifted me with the gift of healing. First of all, God often communicates with me through dates and numbers. I waited 2 years after my cancer diagnosis to seek medical treatment. I could not
explain it even to myself.

Approximately 5 months before I even knew I was going to seek medical treatment, I was repeatedly shown the number 31.  I knew in the spirit that it was important but I had to wait to see that you were going to have me have 31 radiation treatments. The final treatment for my cure will be the 70 beads you will put into my prostate.  7 is a number for completion.

Shortly after I met you, I found out we have the same birthday.  I knew in the spirit that we were closely linked and that something significant was on the horizon, beyond you just treating my cancer.

You shared with me a few weeks ago that you have bone cancer.  I suspect you do not share that with most of your patients.

Upon hearing the news about your cancer, I was greatly overcome with compassion for you. You have a great bed-side manner. You are a healer yourself without the ability to totally cure yourself today of this very serious cancer.  However, all things are possible with God.

God works in mysterious ways.  We often do not understand His plan for us or the provision He makes possible.

It is by no means a chance cause for our meeting.  I very strongly believe God brought it about. I knew weeks ago that I needed to anoint you and lay hands on you. How God would work it out, I did not know until yesterday. I asked Karen, your nurse, how you were doing with your cancer.  She said that you had been doing better than most with a non-curable illness; however you had gotten very quiet of late. I could see great stress in your demeanor. I knew then that I needed to make you aware of the healing God has already granted you. You have more work yet ahead and this illness has given you great capacity and understanding in order for you to provide needed treatment for many others. At forty, you have much work and many lives will be saved because of your giftedness.

I instantly saw your faith in your response to my suggestion for God’s touch and your subsequent healing. Moses led God’s people right up to the edge of the Red Sea with Pharaoh’s army in hot pursuit and just before a way of escape was made possible. However, because they did not believe that God could give them the Promised Land, even though He said that He would, all but 2 adults died in the desert after 40 years of wandering.  A lack of faith had kept them from all that God had prepared for them.

I Cor 12: 1-9 – Gifts given by God
James 5:14 – Elders called for healing
Mat 4:23-25 – Jesus heals
Mat 9:10-13 – The sick need a physician.
Mat 6: 25-34 – Our Father knows our needs.
Mat 8:5-13, 17 – Great faith demonstrated
Mat 9: 27-29 – Two blind men healed
Mat 21: 21-22 – Prayer, believing, receive
Mark 11:24 – Jesus said, “Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.”

In the name of our Great Healer, Jesus.
Blessings to you!!!

Do You Feel Like A ‘Loser’?

-by Lonnie Mackley (prophetic@revivalschool.com)

In this last move of God upon the earth He has placed many people
into lives that He knew would be full of denial, restriction, loss, and
many other things happening that might make us look like what
people call a "loser". Then comes the wilderness, which seems to
be a super-loser looking kind of life where all your junk comes out
and you are even more restricted and challenge-ridden than ever.
At times, you can even despair of life itself, because you wonder
if things are ever going to get any better.

I just want to encourage you today that there have been many
people in the past that God has used in mighty ways that have
also lived a life similar to yours. They are people who have been
treated with great contempt and disdain by those they truly loved,
people with physical problems that greatly limited them, and
people who barely had enough money to survive on much of the
time. These people have been very often rejected, overlooked,
and excluded. It can be easy to think that you are just cursed.

There is one added element to your life, you are being prepared
for the greatest and last harvest of souls in human history. So
God has prepared many people who have been through the worst
of the worst, so that He can flow through them with the best of
His best. He needed people who had been wounded, and who
struggled with certain types of sin so that He could heal and
deliver them, and then send them out to help a world full of others
like them. There is great wisdom in God’s plan for your crazy life.

There may be many times that you are tempted to just say,
"What’s the point in going through all of this? I might as well just
create my own life because this is getting me nowhere". But there
has been a lot that God has worked out on the inside of you that
you may not even be aware. God thinks long term, so He will
make sure that all of the cracks in the foundation of your life have
been fully repaired first before He starts to build high upon you.
So be encouraged, you are not a loser, you are God’s winner.

HEB 11:38- "The world was not worthy of them. They wandered
in deserts and mountains, and in caves and holes in the ground."

Jealosy and Sabotage

by Debbie "dkchac" (prophetic@revivalschool.com)

Have you found yourself, as a chosen servant of God, struggling
with other people’s jealousy so much that you feel stunted in your
ability to do all that God has called you to do? This seems to be
so debilitating. We struggle to stay away from pride. What do we
do when we do things God calls us to do and are accused of
"being too good for others"? Even after hearing the accuser and
searching our hearts, we know that God has called us to do
certain and BOLD things — which are not done in pride at all. But,
how this does hinder us!

When we do our best for the Lord, and we are successful –
because of the Lord – others get offended. Many try to do the
same things out of jealousy and in the flesh and fail – leaving them
feeling discouraged and like God is not going to use them. Instead
of looking to God for their OWN gifts and talents as given by God,
they want to do what others have been given the grace by God to
do. This is prevalent in church communities today and hinders the
growth of the community. It causes division and makes the person
who is being led by the Holy Spirit feel unwelcome or ashamed of
using the gifts and talents that God has given them. What is the
solution? Anyone else suffering through this?

Seriously, I’m not sure how I can become involved in a church
environment because every time I try, and God starts using me,
people get offended – no matter how "background" I try to be or
how much I express that all I do is from God, people get their
shorts in a bunch.

So, what is a servant of God to do? There are many examples of
those who are chosen by God in the Word. Many of them led
lonely lives. This is okay with me. Jesus is the best friend I could
ever ask for… People will always disappoint us and when we hang
our expectations on them, we do get hurt. But, if we set ourselves
too far away from other people, we lose our compassion and can
also appear to be snooty and like we are trying to set ourselves
"above" others, even as that is not our intention.

Then, there is the issue of sabotage. Have you ever had other
people who call themselves "Christians" try to sabotage what the
Lord is doing through you and/or your reputation? People have
many insecurities and when we exhibit our confidence in Christ,
it offends people. You can tell them till you are blue in the face
that they have the same confidence, but their insecurities rule
and they use whatever means possible to undermine the good
God is trying to do through you. Anyone else experience this?
The only loving thing that I have found to do is to leave their
presence and continue in prayer for them.

Thoughts and help needed!!! Because God wants to use me, I’m
feeling like I don’t belong anywhere. How’s that for a dilemma?
Wondering if others are experiencing the same things….

What Would the Church Do?

By Ian Hall (prophetic@revivalschool.com)

What would the modern church do to Jesus if He were on the earth today?
– They would tell Him to say a little prayer.
– They would invite Him to their church.
– They would tell Him to give ten percent of his money to the church, and rebuke Him for giving it (and more) to the poor.
– They would give Him self-help books to heal his “inner hurt.”
– They would tell Him that He needed to get rich in order to receive God’s blessings.
– They would tell Him that apostles and prophets don’t exist anymore, and that most of the spiritual gifts aren’t for today. BUT being a Church greeter is a “spiritual gift.”
– They would tell Him to go to seminary school to “perfect” his preaching gift.
– They would tell Him, with their actions, that it is OK to sin, as long as you either, (a) Hide it well enough, or (b) Use Scripture to justify it.
– They would tell Him to stop playing with the children during the sermon.
– They would tell Him to stop preaching repentance, because people don’t like it.
– They would tell Him to preach messages with a “warm, upbeat” message that make people feel good, so that more people would come to His church and that He could pay His bills for His church building.
– They would rebuke Him for saying that the church is people, and not a building.
– They would tell Him to stop hanging out with ‘sinners.’
– They would rebuke Him for making “communion” a meal.
– They would rebuke Him for calling several people in church authority “hypocrites.”
– They would tell Him to stop healing people, because that isn’t for today.
– They would kick Him out of the church for knocking down the pews and pulpits.
– They would gossip about Him, and say that He was starting a “cult.”

God Has It All Under Control

Note from the moderator: This is an article that I received from Jerry Olson back in June of this year. I just received an update from him which I will also send out with this mailing, entitled “Update: My Letter to Dr. Tippin“.  In it, Jerry describes his ministry (service) and the message of healing that God is having him give to his doctor who also “coincidently” has been diagnosed with cancer as well.  Read the article below first before reading the “Update:“, and you will be inspired seeing God working, and how everything that His children experience is for a purpose.  Also, take special notice of how God first sent a prophetic word to Jerry about His plans (Amos 3:7) – in regards to how He was going to use Jerry’s illness to heal others.  Jerry believed the word of the Lord as it was revealed to him through this brother, and then acted in faith in accordance with it.  Whereby, others are now being saved (healed) through Jerry’s suffering and illness.  It is exciting to see how God uses His people to serve and minister to others.  It is especially exciting to see how God chose a newly-baptized member of His Body (Tim) to give a special prophetic message to Jerry which “incidently” led to the conversion (healing) of a long-time alcoholic neighbor lady who had “just happened” to overhear the message being given to Jerry.  I have since learned that this neighbor lady has been completely healed of her alcoholism.  Praise God!

By Jerry Olson
olsonjd@netscape.com

(written 6/25/06)
The title above is the title of an e-mail I received today from a Christian brother, Tim.  I met Tim a year ago at a well site in Nevada. I was led to share with him several testimonials about various healings God had brought about over several years previously. You see for the last 10 years or so, God gifted me with the gift of healing. I had shared those stories with Tim. One of the people God had led me to pray for was a little girl that just happened to end up being the granddaughter of Tim’s boss. Later that evening Tim decided to ask God himself for healing and because of this faith God granted him healing mercy on his shoulder. Several months later Tim came to Denver where he was baptized and received the Holy Spirit from God.

Approximately two years ago I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. I chose at that time to do nothing; but to wait on God and see what He would have me to do. I was told by my doctor that if I left it alone this cancer would one day take my life. My wife and daughters and mother were not very pleased with me when I told them I was not going to seek medical assistance – my doctor had suggested surgery. I was reminded a few days ago what my wife had said to me when I told her of my decision. Quote: “ Don’t you want to see your granddaughter Kianna walk down the isle at her wedding? “ She in particular was quite up set with me at the time.

I can not honestly explain why I chose the course I did at the time. I am a man of faith and I’ve seen God heal many a person over many years as a Christian. I have often laid hands on people and God has healed them. Looking back on it now, I guess it was because I wanted to please God with faith in Him, because I know He is in control of everything in the entire universe. I knew He could take care of little o me.

About a month ago now I decided to go in for another PSA test to determine the status of my cancer, I can not explain why. Well it is much worse now as I figured it would be. Now the doctors are saying my chances for survival are less than 50% and that it has spread in my body. Two days ago, Tim sent me an e-mail that I didn’t originally get. Eric, another close Christian brother, called me to let me know that he had received it from Tim, and that he would send it on to me. Tim was still under the thinking that I had not gone back to the doctor. Tim and I had never discussed my cancer or my thinking about this cancer. Just as Eric phoned me to let me know about Tim’s message to me, a lady walked up to me an sat down right next to me at my neighbor’s house across the street. I had met her before but I do not know her. But as she was seated next to me she could hear our entire conversation. Eric read me the e-mail from Tim. The e-mail read as follows: “God sent a man to me and the man said, ‘This is a message God wants to give to you’.  Right away I thought of you [Eric] and Jerry Olson, because I have received messages from God through you guys before. The new message is to tell Jerry that his cancer is back. Satan created cancer. God created medicine. Jerry will not go to the doctor to be healed because he thinks it is a lack of faith. Not true.  Like He said, ‘Medicine was created by Him.’ If Jerry goes to the hospital there will be persons in his ward that he will be able to heal through God. You have told me before to beware of voices in case it is not Him. I am not educated in the Bible enough to go through Scriptures to see if this was a message from God, or from the devil to shake Jerry’s faith. Anyhow — God just reminded me what He told me through the man – ‘Love is the electromagnetic force that holds atoms (Adams) together, and that all we have to do is believe in Jesus and we WILL go to heaven, no matter what.'”

When I got off the phone the Lord led me to ask this lady seated next to me how she was doing. She told me, “Not well at all”. I asked her if I could help her. My neighbor said to both of us, “I will leave you two to talk”. Anne, my neighbor, knew at that moment that it was time for her to go into the house, which she did immediately. I asked this lady if she wanted to share with me. She began to tell me that she had just been asked to leave her daughter’s home. She had been staying at her daughter’s house next door to Anne’s. She explained that she had lost everything because she had become an alcoholic about 11 years earlier. She was in a very bad way – what you could think of as “rock-bottom”. I explained to her that she needed the Lord’s healing power in order to be restored. We talked and she told me that she needed to be baptized also.  I prayed for her and shared Scriptures with her as well. The anointing God has placed in my hands was used that very same hour that Eric read me Tim’s e-mail. I did not have to wait until I got to the hospital ward.  Remember that the sick and infirmed are everywhere.

God reminded me that we are children of promise, that Jesus was sacrificed before the foundation of the world.  Eph 1:4 says, “Just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, :5 having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will. :6 to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the beloved. : 7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace”. Eph 2:19 says, “Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God”.  Eph 4:1 says, “There is one body and one spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; :5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; :6 one God and Father of all, who is above all, and in you all“.

I truly didn’t know what to do when my diagnoses came down.  But I am reminded of this Scripture, Mat 6:8: “Our Father knows the things we need before we ask Him.” In addition to our needs, He loves us.  James 2:5 says, “Listen, my beloved brethren; Has God not chosen the poor of this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom which He promised to those who love Him?” How can I remain thinking about my flesh when I know of another promise from God. I John 2:25: “And this is the promise that He has promised us – eternal life.”

Another important thing I’m reminded of as I write this letter, is that before my cancer I did not appreciate all that I had. All the blessings God has showered on me. Yes, even things in the flesh. A very loving wife, and two wonderful daughters that would do just about anything for me. Even at my age, a mother and father that love me and care about me. Many great brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus that often shower me with their love and concern. It has provided me with a new appreciation for life, each day when I wake up, I know that I may not have many days left. Tomorrow is not guaranteed to any of us.

Father’s day was last week and I was again reminded of my Father’s gifts and blessings. One daughter wrote me, “ I love you very much! You have been a great dad and you are a wonderful grandfather!” My other daughter wrote, “Hopefully we can get to continue on doing things with grandpa. If you don’t make it through this cancer, I want you to know how much you mean to us and how much you will be missed.” My wife wrote:  “Happy Father’s Day to the king of the castle! Love You.”

How can I possibly be disappointed with all that?  I have seven grandchildren! God has blessed me with everything a man could possibly want – way beyond what I deserve!

Can life be difficult at times?  You bet it can. Are some situations seemingly impossible?  May we always be reminded that God has it all under control.

Our Father told us that He would supply all of our needs. That if we believe on His Son, Jesus, and ask for forgiveness we would have eternal life. God did not promise us fame, fortune, riches, wisdom, health, good looks, or any of the other many desires we might have here on earth. In fact we are told that we are called to a life of sacrifice, suffering and service. We are going to have sorrow living this life. Remember Satan is yet, and still, the god of this world. Stress and struggles will follow us all the days of our life. Like the Scripture states, “You will be tested and refined with fire”.

The God and Eternal Creator of the universe promised us all of these wonderful things.  How is it possible that any thing can get us down? Heb 6:13 says, “For when God made a promise to Abraham, because He could swear by no one greater, He swore by Himself.”  May we always be reminded of this Scripture in our daily walk with Jesus.  Phil 3:14 says, “I press toward the goal for the price of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”

Three years ago God gave me a picture very early one morning.  I turned to my wife and said God just showed me that Jennifer, our daughter, was about to become pregnant with a baby girl. Approximately 10 months later Abagail was born. I was given a similar picture the same day that Tim was trying to send me the e-mail. Remember Tim’s e-mail about the atom (Adam) or connection through Jesus. Jesus was described in Scripture as another Adam. I Cor 15:45 says, “And so it is written, ‘The first man Adam became a living being’. The last Adam became a life- giving spirit.” We are all connected as the children of God through the Holy Spirit. At that very moment, I was reminded of what my wife had said to me two years earlier about missing Kianna’s wedding. God showed me another picture:  I was walking my now 8 year old granddaughter Kianna down the isle at her wedding. You see my daughter, Jerri, and her three children live with me and my wife in our home. On Father’s Day Kianna ask my wife if she could get me a Father’s Day gift.  She did not mention wanting to get a gift for her biological father. In addition, last evening my daughter, Jerri, and the lady that I had met at Anne’s house across the street were baptized! Yes, God moves in mysterious ways.  He loves us and is always working ahead of us to bring about His purposes and providing for our needs. Truly, God has it all under control.

Be Willing to Share What God is Doing

By Greg Turner gregt@greenboxent.com

Hi Friends,

Recently a couple of people pointed out to me that there has not been much activity on the Sharingtheway.com website. I thought it was interesting that they were pointing this out to me. Later on that night and ever since those comments I have been thinking about why they were pointing that out to me. From my perspective the Sharingtheway.com website is about Christians sharing the works that God is having them do on a daily basis with other Christians. It is not about two guys creating a new church or about two guys pushing some new doctrine or dogma. The website is for all of us to share. Why? Because in Matt. 10 Jesus tells us to share those things that He shares with us.

Matthew 10:26 – 28 (KJV) 26Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known. 27What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops. 28And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Now we can do this in our local meetings or churches, but this is also why we have the website. I look forward to articles written by others. Why? So I can see the glory of God being worked through everyone and can be encouraged, instructed and lifted up by them. Paul instructs this in I Cor. 14:31:

1 Corinthians 14:31 (KJV) 31For ye may all prophesy one by one, that all may learn, and all may be comforted.

Paul said clearly in I Cor. 12 that all that have the Holy Spirit have spiritual gifts and that we must utilize them to the edifying of the church:

1 Corinthians 12:4 – 11 (NKJV) 4There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.  5There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord.  6And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all.  7But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all: 8for to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit,  9to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by £the same Spirit,  10to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues.  11But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.

This is so critical. We all have the spiritual gifts for the “profit of all”. We need to share those things – the “diversities of activities” – that the Spirit distributes to us. I am more guilty than all in that generally some new spiritual activity happens to me about once per week. I have only shared these things in our local meetings, but do intend to share them more fully in the future on the website as the Spirit moves me to do so.

Note in Romans 8 that we can not call ourselves Christians if we do not have the Spirit of Christ in us:

Romans 8:7 – 9 (KJV) 7Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.  8So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.  9But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

Now if the reverse is true and we do call ourselves Christians and the Spirit is in us then we must do as Jesus and Paul says. Jesus said “I am the Way” (John 14:5) and his followers were called those of “the Way” (Acts 9:2). In the coming days I look forward to those things that people of “the Way” have to share on the website. Please tell us what has been happening – those diversities of activities – in your life that God has been working through you.

Also, note that there is a new section on the website where people can post questions or comments called “Post Questions to the Moderator”.

In Him,

Greg Turner

My Burden, My Cross

by Eric Wheeler
eric@sharingtheway.com

About eight years ago, I had a dream. Actually, it was more like a vision or a daydream because I was awake when I was given it. I saw thousands of rats living in a dark cave, and I was one of them. We rats had formed a functioning “rat society” and created a prosperous civilization inside of this cave. And although we didn’t realize or comprehend that we were living inside of a cave, we nonetheless enjoyed our working environment and growing population. There were policemen, governmental agencies, city officials, laws, schools, politicians, churches, clergymen, stores and prisons. Although there were many well-respected and influential rats living within our society, I was just an average ordinary citizen with no particular outstanding talents or abilities. I was happy and content though living in the cave with my family – that is, with my parents and my sisters (I wasn’t married in my dream), and I enjoyed my own circle of friends who apparently liked me and respected me.

One strange night however, while I was sleeping in my rat bed, I was suddenly “lifted up” by this great big Mysterious Hand that somehow miraculously carried me outside of the cave by the back of my rat neck. It was then that I first came to realize that I had been living in a cave! In comparison to this newly discovered “outside world”, the cave that I and the other rats had been living in was very dark and colorless indeed! Never before had I seen such brilliance and beauty! The colors in the outside world were way beyond description, and the radiance of the sun shone so brightly there. There was a tranquil peace and harmony that permeated everything in the outside world. It was well beyond my rat imagination and limited rat speech to describe.

Immediately, I heard a Voice speak to me. (I didn’t see any person or figure, only the Great Hand that had carried me outside by the back of my rat neck.) The Voice said, “Now go back into the cave, and tell everyone living there what you have seen. Let them know that they are indeed living inside of a cave, and that their world is fictitious, and is not reality. Go and tell them what you have seen!” With those words, the Great Hand supernaturally carried me back into the cave and put me back into my bed. When morning came, I knew what I had to do. It was time to begin professing the Truth as it had been revealed to me.

Up to that point, although I was ordinary, I had enjoyed a solid reputation for being honest and truthful. All of my family, friends, and associates considered me to be “a stand-up guy”, I mean, a “stand-up rat”. But all of that was about to change. I first began to share my very unusual experience with my closest friends at school. At first they were all amazed, and were very excited by my “tall-tale” and “ghost story”, especially how I could deliver it so believingly and convincingly without so much as even cracking a grin or a smile. As I insisted that it was all indeed true, they playfully and unbelievingly waved their hands at me, saying, “Good one, Eric. You almost had me going there for a second! How long did it take for you to come up with that one?!”

As I persisted in regards to the truth of my message, my friends eventually began losing interest and respect for me. They began to shy away from me, and exclude me from their fellowship and from “hanging-out” with them. I also tried to share the message with my mom and dad, but they wouldn’t listen, dismissing me as just being “an immature boy who had a big imagination and a strong sense of wanting to be somebody important and special”. My sisters too began to avoid me because of all of the ridicule and teasing that they had to endure at school on my account. The more I persisted, the more I wasn’t welcome in my familiar rat circles. Some of the rats even called me “crazy” and “delusional”. I tried to share the message with my church pastor and with some of the church leaders, and with other rat adults that I looked up to. But each one of them in one way or another simply patted me on the head, and reassured me that everything was going to be alright. “You just had a bad dream,” they told me, “It has no real meaning or validity.”

Not wanting to be disobedient to the Voice’s commandment, I became more determined and bolder with my presentation. I tried with all of my might to convince those around me that they were indeed living in darkness and in a cave. Sadly, my message fell on deaf ears. The rats began attributing false motives to me in order to justify their unbelief. They would say things such as, “Who do you think you are?”, “Are you saying that you are more enlightened than we are?”, “Do you think you’re something special?”. Others would scoff at me and say, “There goes Wheeler again, trying to get a following for himself!”

As I persisted in the validity of my message, threatenings and warnings began to increase. At first, they were subtle. Little things like, “Oh Eric, you better cut out this ridiculous fantasy, or else you are not going to have any friends or people who will want to associate with you.” As I remained steadfast in my position, knowing that what I was saying was indeed the truth, I was officially disfellowshipped from the church for preaching “heresy”; my after-school job was threatened; I was black-balled by my friends and neighbors; and I felt a great sense of shame and abandonment from my family members. It seemed that nobody understood or believed me. Everyone only believed what their eyes and their experiences told them. They weren’t open to anything else!

As time went on, I became more and more discouraged, which ultimately caused me to become withdrawn, reclusive, and silent. During one particular lonely night in my dream, as I lay on my rat bed disheartened and greatly discouraged, the Voice came back to me and reminded me of my responsibility. The Voice reminded me that I had been chosen to tell the others what I had seen and been given. The Voice reminded me of the verse in the Bible that said, “For God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; and the insignificant things of the world and the things which are despised, God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are, that no flesh should glory in His presence” (I Cor. 1:27-29). The Voice also said, “And remember that it is also written, ‘To him whom much is given, from him much will be required” (Luke 12:48). With these words, I was both admonished and encouraged by the Voice to get back up and to try again to convince my fellow rats that we were not living in reality, but rather, we were living in a cave and blind to it because of the darkness.

As the threats increased, so did my boldness and conviction. Most of the rats simply didn’t believe me. But curiously, it seemed like every rat that had “something to lose” by believing, whether it was their job, their political clout or social standing, their money, their acceptance within the community, or their position within the church, were the very ones that gave me the most persecution and resistance. They simply didn’t want anything or “anyone” to come between them and their comfortable world. Encouragingly though, a few rats did believe me. It was almost like they didn’t have anything to lose by believing, because they were poor and contrite, and I was giving them hope through my message. These rats were humble and teachable. They would smile when I spoke, and began to show a gleam in their eye as they tried to envision the beauty and the brilliance of the “outside world” and its life-giving reality as I described it to them. Though they were few in number, these believing rats were an inspiration and an encouragement to me when all of the other rats rejected me personally and my message.

After some time in my dream, the secular authorities came to me at the request of the religious leaders who had continually lobbied them for my arrest. It appeared that I had “stepped on the religious leader’s toes” by not submitting to them, and for preaching “a different gospel” that had not been approved nor condoned by them. Because many of the civil authorities were politically “in bed” with the religious leaders, and endorsed by them, I was publicly deemed a “threat to society” and “socially-disruptive”, and labeled a “corrupter of the rat people” by the civil authorities. Because I refused to recant or to be silenced, I was charged with “contempt of court”, “disturbing the peace”, “disobeying a court order”, and “causing a public riot”. Whereby, I was put in prison, beaten and abused by the guards, mocked by the other prisoners, and totally discredited by the religious and secular authorities. My name became synonymous with being “a deceiver, a liar, and a hoax” among my own rat people. After a little while, as I watched in my dream, my enemies prevailed over me by having me executed (murdered) by the state… I then woke up.

When I was first given this dream eight years ago, I didn’t fully realize then what it entirely meant or its spiritual implications for my life. Two years earlier, I had been given a series of powerful visions and profound revelations that I had no idea were going to cause me so much future personal grief and turmoil. Let me explain.

First, let me give you a little personal history: I was raised in a Christian denomination that strongly believed in the validity of the Bible. However, like most churches, it too had many doctrines and teachings that upon closer examination were found to be unbiblical – that is they were really teachings and commandments of men, passed on by tradition, ritual, and a misunderstanding of Scripture. In light of realizing this, the church denomination that I had faithfully attended for over twenty-five years began to change some of its key doctrines causing many of its members a great deal of anguish and crisis’s of belief. Needless to say, many of us in the local congregations were troubled as our faith was seemingly being tried and tested. As the Lord was “shaking” things up spiritually for us to see what our faith was “built upon” – whether it was built upon His Word or upon man’s traditions and beliefs – like so many in the church, I too, was left with feeling a deep sense of “spiritual emptiness”, and I found myself “spiritually lacking”. For the first time in my life, I began to recognize my own spiritual poverty, and began to realize that I didn’t have “all of the answers” anymore. In fact, I wasn’t quite sure what I believed. I became “poor in spirit” as Jesus termed it (Matt. 5:3). Instead of feeling spiritually strong, I became spiritually weak. I became insignificant, broken, ashamed, and humbled. I no longer felt spiritually superior to anyone. In my deep despair and brokenness, I began to cry out to God. I hungered to know if He was indeed real. I wanted to know the truth! I didn’t want to be deceived or misled any longer. I didn’t want any man or any church to mislead me with false doctrines and wrong teachings anymore. I was spiritually hungry (Matt. 5:6). I wanted to know the difference between what was real and what was false. I had become so completely spiritually broken and empty, that I wanted to find the Truth of God – no matter what the cost!

I realized then that I truly needed to find God for myself. I needed to go directly to Him for the answers. I didn’t want to go to man anymore for the answers. I didn’t want any organization or church to mislead me again. ‘If God was indeed real, and He truly cared about me’, I thought to myself, ‘then He is certainly capable to answer me for Himself!’ However, I realized from the Scriptures that I had to do my part. I had to pursue Him! I had to seek after Him with my whole heart. I had to diligently search for the Truth! (see Jer. 29:11-14; Luke 11:9-10; John 7:37-39). I saw in the Bible that we didn’t need any other mediators (earthly men) between us and God other than Jesus Christ who is our only Mediator (I Tim. 2:5), and that we could go directly to God ourselves now that the veil that had separated us from God had been torn in two by Jesus’ death (Mark.15:38). I also saw in the Bible that Jesus had prophetically stated to the religious leaders of His day, “Have you never read in the Scriptures that ‘The Stone which the [temple/church] builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone’…. Therefore I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a nation bearing the fruits of it. And whosoever falls on this Stone will be broken [humbled]; but on whomever it falls, it will grind him to powder.” (Matt. 21:42-45). In my brokenness, I found God and the truth. But it would come with a heavy price. For Jesus had said, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me.” (Luke 9:23).

Little did I realize then what knowing the Lord was going to cost me. I certainly don’t lament that cost. By no means! Because knowing the Lord and the Truth is worth more than all that this world has to offer, and then some! My only purpose in sharing this is to relay the facts as I have experienced them and to wholeheartedly testify and witness to the truthfulness and validity of God’s Word, especially when He said:

“A man’s foes will be those of his own household!” (Matt. 10:36).

“He came to His own and His own did not receive Him” (John 1:11).

“A prophet is not without honor except in his own country, among his own relatives, and in his own house” (Mark. 6:4)

“Men [will] hate you, and [will] exclude you, and revile you, and cast out your name as evil for the Son of Man’s sake.” (Luke 6:22)

“They will deliver you up to councils and scourge you in their synagogues [churches]…and you will be hated by all for My name’s sake.” (Matt. 10:17-22).

After a time of desperate searching for the Lord and deep repentance as I began to recognize my own weak spiritual condition and poverty, the Lord began to “talk” to me. I began having powerful visions and revelations. In each one, the Lord would “narrate” the scenes and images that I saw by quoting Scriptures that I had long heard and studied, but had never comprehended in that way before. He would quote Scripture and reveal them to me in a whole new light that I had never realized or been taught before, even though I had received a Bachelor’s degree in Theology from a Christian college. As far as I knew, no church or seminary had ever interpreted the Scriptures in this way that I was being shown before, and so needless to say, I was speechless because they were being given to me by divine revelation. I was astonished at what the Lord was showing me. For the most part, I kept the information to myself. I realized that these revelations would cause quite a stir in the Christian community, especially within my own immediate church and social circle, and I didn’t want to cause any trouble or waves.

As time went on though, as a result of these revelations, the Bible was becoming more and more “alive” to me and full of astonishing hidden truths. God began to show me things that caused me to realize that we Christians don’t know anything! We think that we are so “rich and increased with spiritual knowledge, and that we have need of nothing, and don’t realize that we are actually spiritually poor, blind, naked, and miserable” (Rev. 3:17). We are blind to our own spiritual condition and poverty, and yet most every church, every ministry, and every Christian (especially in America), thinks that we are spiritually okay. But we are not! God clearly showed me that. He showed me that we are blind. That we are walking around in the darkness. That we are living in a cave, and that His people don’t really know Him, and yet, we strongly believe that we do! He is more real than we know. He is truer than we believe. He loves us more than we realize. And He is right there above each one of us at all times. And yet, by the way in which we live our daily lives, we demonstrate that we don’t believe that God is truly right here in our midst and that His infinite power is always at our disposal. If we truly did, then the Bible says that we would be doing the same works that Jesus did, and greater (John 14:12; Matt. 17:19-21).

As God was showing me these things and revealing Himself to me, I was still attending the church denomination that I had belonged to. I tried to quietly share with them the things that God was showing me but they wouldn’t listen. Even as they denominationally were changing their “incorrect doctrines” to be more in-line with “accepted Christianity”, I told them that God was performing a “transition within a transition” but that they weren’t aware of it. I tried to tell them that God was doing a “work in the midst of them” that they weren’t seeing even as they were changing corporately. I warned them that God was going to soon deal with every church, with every denomination, with every pastor and leader, and with every Christian regardless of their denomination, church affiliation, and doctrinal creed. He was going to begin to deal with each of us in a way that we weren’t expecting. For God had told me as much. He said to me, “Behold, I will work a work in your days which you will not believe, even though a man will tell you these things” (Hab. 1:5; Acts 13:40-41). After God gave me these startling revelations and visions, I asked Him why He was telling me and showing me these things. He specifically said to me: “Go, and tell My people which are called by My name [meaning, “Christians”] that I Am more real than they know and that I Am more alive than they believe. Tell them to believe in Me more than they do; for I Am standing up in My Throne, and am about to make a move across the face of the earth the likes of which they have never known or seen”. He then said to me: “Tell them that I love them and that I Am with them more than they know.” The Lord said all of this to me ten years ago.

Now let me tell you what has happened since. My wife and I have been permanently “disfellowshipped” from the church denomination that we grew up in for preaching and teaching “heresy”. All of our church friends have turned their backs on us with few exceptions. One set of our parents believe that I consort with demons; while the other set suspects that I may have gone “a little crazy” and jeopardized my family’s income. Some people accuse me of being “bi-polar” and “delusional”; while others believe that I am “demonic” and “deceived”. Some believe that I am “only trying to create my own church and my own following”. I have been accused of every false motive under the sun; very few people will associate with us; and we have been betrayed, ridiculed, gossiped, slandered, and cruelly maligned. I have personally been kicked out of a number of churches and Bible studies, stripped of my deaconship, youth pastoralship, and teaching credentials. My family is continually excluded from golf-outings, re-unions, and church socials. My wife and I have endured all of this simply because the Lord visited me and gave me the above message to tell His people – that He loved them and that He is more real than they know or believe.

It has been like this for us for seven years. God first gave me the visions and revelations ten years ago in the spring of 1995. I was quiet for the first three years and kept it all to myself. Then I was given the dream about the rats living in a cave. Shortly after that, I began sharing a little bit of what the Lord had told me with others. That is when all of the trouble and persecution began especially from the Christian community. Don’t get me wrong. I love God and His people. I am not sad. I am not afraid. I have no regrets. I would gladly do it all over again. It is written that Jesus “came unto His own people but His own received Him not” (John 1:11). And Jesus said that “The servant is not greater than His Master. If they have persecuted Me, they will persecute you also” (John 15:20). This is the way that it was meant to be. But God still loves His people, and He is willing to bear long with each of us. For it is written, “All day long I have stretched out My hands to a disobedient and obstinate people” (Rom. 10:21). And again He says, “How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing!” (Matt. 23:37).

I love God’s people – my people, Christians. I would do anything to be able to rejoice with them again, to sing songs of praise to God in unison again, and to hear His name magnified throughout His holy congregation. To collectively worship God in Spirit and in Truth! For our God is a Holy God! And Scripture says that “those that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and in Truth” (John 4:23-24). Oh, how I long to see those days. Each night I dream of those days. Each day I hope for those days. I long for His people to worship Him both in Spirit and in Truth. My heart yearns for that time to come. It cries out for that time. I live for that time. But for now, I must quietly wait. I must patiently endure, even as I eagerly dream. For this is God’s will and His doing. He gave me this vision. He gave me this dream. And I must patiently wait for Him (Luke 21:12-19). For this is my burden, and this is my cross.

Vision of the Sword and the Serpent

Note from the moderator: I read this article a few years ago, and I remembered how powerfully it spoke to me then, so I was glad to have run across it again recently in order to share it with you all.  It is quite astounding and rich in prophetic meaning. I think that it is important for us to remember that in these last days, God said that He was going to pour out His Spirit on all flesh and that His people would prophesy, and that young men would see visions and old men would dream dreams (Acts 2:17-18). Obviously, God intends for us to spiritually “sit up and take notice” of what He is telling us through these prophetic messages.

By L. Vere Elliott (prophetic@revivalschool.com)

This is the vision/revelation.  I was in the midst of a great meeting hall
(a church), and the walls and ceilings were covered with jewels and
ornaments, and the windows were made of colored glass (a typical cathedral
or church).  The hall was full of people, some rich, some poor, some sick
and crippled, mute and blind; but all had chains on and were hand-cuffed,
and no one was free, (a picture of today’s church; they’re in church, but they’re
not free). In front of the meeting hall was a large platform, with a
pulpit on one side and a large cage on the other, with a huge green serpent
in it; and hanging over where the speaker would stand, was a great sword
suspended by two strings horizontally; and on the platform were several
ministers,  8 or 10, clothed in clerical robes, sitting one behind the
other, one seated just a little above the other.

The assembly looked upon these men and they looked upon the church.  There
was silence for a while, until a thundering voice sounded from the pulpit,
as if it came directly from God, saying,  “Who will declare the whole
counsel of God?”  And the first clergyman arose with a Bible in his hand,
and when he did, the old green serpent uncoiled and stretched out hissing
against the man with sparkling eyes and protruding fangs; and the man of
God, falsely so-called, sank back into his seat and placed his Bible under
the chair.  And when the serpent stretched up his head and touched the
sword, he said to that man, “Anyone who obeys the voice of God, I will kill
with this sword.”  And for a little while, there was silence again.

And then the Voice sounded from the pulpit again, “Who will declare the
whole counsel of God?”  And then the second man in clerical robes arose as
if he would step forward, and again the serpent uncoiled against him, and
he tumbled back with fear and sat down and placed his Bible under his chair
(hiding the Word).  The serpent again touched the sword, and with the same
remark said,  “I will kill you, if you obey the voice of God.”

And for the third time the Voice from the pulpit thundered, and a third man
arose and sat down like the two before him.  And again and again the Voice
sounded until each of the clergyman had had an opportunity to resist the
serpent, but fear overcame them all, like the first three had been
overcome.  And the serpent smiled with his evil smile.  And then the Voice
sounded again from the pulpit saying,  “Oh if there were a man, Oh if there
were a man; Oh if there were a man who would declare the whole counsel of
God, that these chained men might be set free!  Is there not one man?”

Then a man of little stature (meaning he was nothing in the sight of the
world), ascended the platform and stood under the sword, and he lifted up
his eyes toward heaven and said,  “Into Thy hands O God, I committ my
spirit.”  Then he opened the Bible and read.  He didn’t add anything to It,
and he didn’t take anything from It; he read the Word, and spoke as a man
having authority.  And when he had finished, the old serpent stretched up
to the edge of the sword and cut off one of the strings holding the sword
in place, and the sword swung down and missed him and passed over his head;
because he was a man of “little stature”; and the weight of the sword made
the other string to break, and the sword swung back and pierced the hearts
of those clergymen who were lined up and nailed them to the wall.  And a
great scream of despair sounded from the pulpit; but an even greater cry of
joy sounded from the assembly, for every man’s chains were loosed and they
were set free! (By the word they were set free).

When this vision had vanished, I saw another vision of the Savior in a
cloud, just above my head.  He spoke saying,  “Hear, My son, the meaning of
these things:  The meeting hall which you saw is the secularized church,
having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof.  They are all
covered with the jewels of the joys of this world, and there is no end to
their silver and gold.  The people which you saw, are those for whom I
died, but My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; they have eyes,
but they do not see; they have ears, but they cannot hear.  They are truly
in bondage and must be set free!”

“The platform in which you saw, on which the clergymen were sitting; the
platform is the preconceived ideas, having their origins from the pit of
hell.  The pulpit is the throne of God; and the serpent, old Lucufer
himself.  The sword which you saw, is the Word of God; and the strings on
which it was hanging, mean the power of the Word to give life or the power
of the Word to take life.  Life was given to the man of little stature and
life taken from the clergymen that did not preach My Word!  The clergymen
that you saw, are men (& women) from every church who pretend  to know Me,
but they teach My people things which are not written in the Book of life;
and their pride and their presumption, and their wordly spirit force them
to obey Satan, who is a liar and the father of lies; and each of the
clergymen try and exceed the other in elegance, in extensive writings,
argumentation and the like; but they only consider the” letter” of the
Word, and leave out the “spirit” of the Word.  And the day will come and
now is at hand, when they shall all perish, just like these.”

After having considered this horrible scene, the Lord spoke again with
these words,  “Do you remember My words in the prophecy of Jeremiah chapter
23, as well as My words in the prophecy of Ezekiel chapter 34?”  Jesus said,
“Read it.”  And I opened my Bible and read,  “Woe unto the shepherds that
destroy and scatter the sheep of My pasture, saith the LORD.” (Jer.23:1)  “In
the prophets I have see a horrible thing, they commit adultery and they
walk in falsehood: (a perversion of the Word of God), and strengthen the
hands of evil doers.” (Jer.23:14).

Jesus said,  “At the end of days you shall understand this.”  “Woe to the
shepherds that feed themselves, should not the shepherds feed the flock!”
(Ezek.34:2).  “The weak you have not strengthened, nor have you healed the
sick, you’ve not bound up that which was broken, and neither have you
sought that which was lost; but with harshness and with rigor have you
ruled over them.”  (Ezek.34:4).  “I will destroy the fat and the strong
shepherds; and I will feed them with judgment.”  (Ezek34:16).  Then He said
to me that “these false shepherds shall in no wise escape when the sword
falls upon them.  But My sheep must be warned, they must be set free!”
And again He said, “Do you remember My words in the prophecy of Jeremiah in
the latter part of chapter 25?  Read it!”  And I read these words,  “And the
slain if the LORD shall be in that day from one end of the earth, even to
the other end of the earth:” (Jer.25:33).  “Howl ye shepherds, for the day of
your slaughter is come!” (Jer.25:34).

Then He said to me, “These days shall come quickly, the shepherds shall
howl, yea, there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth; but when the sword
has fallen it will be too late forever.  The man whom you saw who was of
little stature, is every man and woman who will humble himself or herself,
and be obedient even to the death of the cross, putting his or her trust
in God, and going forward declaring the whole counsel of God!  Oh, if I
could find such a man, can you tell Me where there is one?  With such a man
I could shake heaven and earth, saith the LORD.”
