Today is a day for love and for peace,
Today is a day for rejoicing in the streets,
For all God’s children near and far,
Bringing their best, placed on the altar.
The Lord is mighty,
Able to save,
The Lord Almighty,
Is His holy name.
Troubles upon us,
His nation of kids,
Trying and testing,
Is what He did,
We must take courage,
And not lose heart,
The Lord is mighty,
And knows the finish from the start.
So don’t give up,
And don’t give in,
Your hope has arrived,
And He lives within!
