We are sojourners in a land that doesn’t know God.
How can it be that God extends mercy to so many and so many go to hell?
Hell is the place of the dead.
O how my heart cries out for justice and truth.
O how my tears flow like honey.
My life is in your hands O Lord.
You shine a lamp on my feet that I can see my way in a fallen world.
O how I long for the days when peace is not my enemy and righteousness is my resting place.
O my God, my heart beaks within me.
My tears are so many that I can’t contain them.
How I cry for justice but there is none to be found.
The devourer is at the door, have mercy on me and keep me in the cleft of the rock.
